Early Life
Abu Bakarr Conteh aka 40 Pound was born on the 4th of January 1988 to Abu Bakarr Conteh and Isatu Mansaray in Kambia District, the Northern part of Sierra Leone. He started his primary education at the Islamic Federation Primary School, Up Gun, Freetown, where he sat to his National Primary School Certificate and proceeded to the Government Municipal Secondary School, Kissy Dock Yard, Freetown. He furthered to the Cambridge International College (Affiliate) and got a diploma in international mass media and communications in 2017. Presently, he is pursuing Honors in Communications and Management at the same institution. He is single.

Abu Bakarr (40 Pound) is an actor, a youtuber, screenwriter, director and can serve as a cameraman and editor for very short film projects. He started his filming career since 2005 in Freetown, where he joined the Regional’s Home Movies Production. He has spent approximately 16 years into entertainment. I have done films like in 2020, it is a feature length documentary about Fistula women in our different communities. I was the writer, Director, second cameraman and assistant editor
