ther from a very young age in Ngedema – Lugbu. He is a Sherbro and Mende by tribe, a Sierra Leonean by nationality, and a Muslim. He started schooling at the Sierra Leone Muslim Brotherhood (SLMB) Primary School at Ngedema Lugbu. In 2009 he was brought to Freetown by his aunt for care-taking, and during his stay with her, he was enrolled in the only private schools. Coker Lahai attended the Gethsemane Praise Academy School Godrich Freetown where he sat his National Primary School Examination and proceeded to the Sengbeh Pieh Memorial Secondary School, Hamilton Freetown for the Basic Education Certificate Examination. He furthered to the Services Senior Secondary School, Juba Barracks Freetown, and sat to the West African Senior Certificate Examination. He served as class prefect and later head boy in all the schools he attended. He started teaching his colleagues at the age of 14 in J.S.S 3 and became a full-time teacher after sitting on the West African Senior School Certificate Examination. He was able to serve both government and private schools like Services Senior Secondary School, Sengbeh Pieh Memorial Secondary School, Shauna Royal Mountain Academy, King of Kings School, Elshadai Primary and Junior Secondary School, and the Council of Imam School. He later established Climax Syndicate at Godrich in 2019 after he resigned from school teaching. The syndicate catered for pupils from Junior Secondary School to college level. Online teaching like Facebook, WhatsApp, and private lectures was also available for all students. So many people benefited.

Career

Coker Lahai alias Ruff Kayles is an actor and makeup artist. After Producing Orkin and I Was Lost, was awarded a certificate as best actor and best make-up artist. In 2019 he joined Universal Image, one of the biggest film production companies in Sierra Leone – as an actor, He later chooses to be their make-up artist full time.

He went on to work with Philip’s Creation Limited as an actor and a make-up artist and staff of the company in 2019. He is the CEO of YES MULTIMEDIA ENTERTAINMENT. YES, which he owns as a brand for all his business purposes. He is a lover of entertainment and ready to push the dreams of other people that want to make it in life. He is a believer in God.
