Madam Giileh Kobbie Scholz, becomes the first notable Sierra Leonean of our generation to receive the American Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award. Giileh is based in the United States of America. She is a gospel singer songwriter, an actor, and the founder and Chief Executive Officer of the SLAAM Awards. On Tuesday, the 28th of March 2022, she received the Joe Biden Lifetime Achievement Award from the special White House Liaisons. This is an award that is normally offered to selected individuals that have contributed massively towards community service and the development of their communities in whatever form, through what they do.
Madam Scholz is a servant Leader in her community, and therefore, the White House did not waste time in approving her award. Even though it was a short notice sent to the main administrative house of the United States of America. A process that could last months was only done within three days to finally release the award, because of her profile and service to her community.
The event took place in the presence of so many Americans, other nationals and Sierra Leonean Entertainment Icons based in the United States of America. This award clearly speaks volume that she is one of the few Sierra Leoneans that have defied the odds in the pursuit to serve humanity wherever they are.
The major dignitaries and Presidential Awards Delegation that graced the award ceremony mainly comprised of key players from the Caribbean and African Faith Based Leadership Conference.

- Rev Dr. Christin Gobio – West African Director CAFBLC and Co-chair Presidential Awards Committee
