Early Life
Mohamed Sheriff Sillah was born to Mohamed Sheriff Sillah and Mabinty Sheriff Sillah on the 11th of April 1986, at 10 Gibour Lane, Syke Street, Brookfields – Freetown. He attended the St Anthony Catholic Primary School and proceeded to the K Secondary School. He continued to the St Edwards Catholic Secondary School King Tom where he sat to his West African Senior Secondary Examination. He forwarded his tertiary education to the Northern Polytechnic and Licsal Business College. He is single.
Career
Mohamed Sheriff Sillah is a movie actor, director, scriptwriter, editor, and producer. He has been into entertainment for close to 28 or 29 years. He entered into entertainment around 1991 as a small boy in Freetown – at Bass Street Brookfields; with a group small group in a form of community, gathering to act on holidays. He actually went into it in full swing entertainment in 1999 learning to act, sing and dance with the Teachers Theatre and Freetown Players International
He was awarded for the movie “Adventure of A Good Lover” in 2011 by the Soon Magazine in Germany. Mohamed travelled places across Sierra Leone with Freetown Player International theatre group and worked with the International Theatre Institute (I T I) based in France. He also worked with the Parex Gospel Crusaders in 2001, a group that was owned by Gorge Willison who presently works for SLBC Freetown Branch. He also undertook a documentary project with Dennis Streeter, T. J. Cole and Salami Carew around the year 2005. He went ahead and founded his movie production – Valentine’s production after he left the Freetown players international and to this day, he has gotten a wealth of experience in the filming career.
