Early life
Osman Bangura alias San Gbingbin was born on the 6th of February 1985 to Dolley Mabinty Mansaray and James Bangura in Roloko Village – Lokomasama Chifdom- Lungi – Portloko District. He attended the D.E.C Primary School Mathen and proceeded to the Lokomasama Senior Secondary School where he sat to his WASSCE. He managed to gain certificates in business enterprises from Restless Development and Goal Salone.
Career
Osman Bangura alias San Gbimgbim is a professional comedian, movie actor, voice actor, story director, commentary runner, a song writer, story writer and studio artist. He started his carrier on the 10th of July 2006, right at Hagan Street – Mabella – Susan Bay at the central part of Freetown. He has 16 years of experience working as an actor, making radio and ttv commercials, recording songs and writing movie scripts. He first joined the Roko Theatre, then the Young Generation Cultural Theatre, Sharp 6 Comedians, Salone Professional Comedian, Making History Production, Value Media, and now has his own production, the Next Level Empire. He is one of the most respected experienced comedians across Sierra Leone. Comedy is a trade that runs in his blood and family line. However, he was deeply inspired and impacted by the late Foday Value, one of Sierra Leone’s professional comedians that passed away in 2013. San won the best comedian in 2012- fight against drugs documentary sponsored by Goal Salone. He is one of the best masters of ceremony in Sierra Leone.
