Real Boss Production Offers Sponsorship to imageSALONE for a Period of Five Years

Blogging is a career and business across the world. Unlike Sierra Leone, entertainment bloggers find it very difficult to make money from what they do let alone be appreciated by those they promote.

Amidst a painful conversation amongst entertainment professionals including some elite bloggers who said their minds about what they go through, the Real Boss Production which owns a shoes and clothing brand made an offer to sponsor the hosting of imageSALONE website for a period of five years. The CEO, Rosaline Sesay said they would sponsor because imageSALONE focuses solely on the filmmakers, she is a filmmaker and filmmakers hardly get promotions as musicians do. This is a gesture that is very much hard to come by from filmmakers in Sierra Leone.

In thanking the CEO and team of Real Boss Production  for the benevolent gesture, Fayia Foray, the CEO and blogger of imageSALONE made an official statement that they would promote the Real Boss brand every month as a sign of appreciation.

The offer came as Fayia Foray unofficially said that imageSALONE team was having a discussion about their next move and it seemed they might forget blogging and promoting anything related to the Sierra Leone Film Industry and move on to promote something else that the team might end up making income out of.

He continued that it’s not easy to maintain a platform as such which doesn’t only need money for maintenance but consumes a lot of time and people as well fail to appreciate by even sharing what is written for them. They would want you to only keep writing good things about them but once you write about their mistakes, they get very furious and say all sorts of things. They forget that the fans of entertainers always look for the good, the bad and the ugly side which keeps the support spirit. He further clarified that filmmakers also fail to differentiate between the blogger as a person or filmmaker and the platform he or she writes blog posts for.

Rosaline requested that imageSALONE should continue to promote filmmakers and the film industry because if imageSALONE leaves, who else will spend their time and money on something they would hardly get income from. On behalf of the Real Boss Production, she made an offer of $ 750 as a sponsorship for a five years period of website hosting.
