Samuel Ibrahim Robinson is a Filmmaker, the Chairman for the Western Rural District Film Union and civil servant with the Western Rural District Council. He is a very staunch member of the All Peoples Congress, one of the leading political parties in Sierra Leone.
He is not an ordinary member but one that has a lot of following and recognition within the party members in his own ward. Samuel is a very loyal person to the incumbent chairman of the Western Rural District Council -Kasho J Holland-Cole.
Samule Ibrahin Robinson happened to follow the footsteps of his father who was also a very stauch member of the APC party back in the days of Siaka P. Stevens. Until the late man’s death, he passed away with the banner of the APC in vain.
Samuel is going in for chairman, constituency 105 come the pending convention with the slogans, integrate, selfless service, competence and a better society.
He is asking fellow filmmakers within his ward and constituency to support him anyway they can as it is one of the ways for filmmakers to enter the realm of decision making where they can be able to influence decisions when it comes to filmmaking.
