Early Life
Sia Comfort Ediener Nyukeh was born to Komba Edison and Soko Rita Nyukeh as the first child of two children with an eastern background. As she’s called Sia, it’s clear to say she comes from Kono. She attended the Urban Center Pre School Kissy and then furthered her primary school education at the Glad Tidings Primary School Kissy, and later went to Annie Walsh Memorial School were she took her JSS 1 classes before moving over to kono with her family. Upon relocating to kono, she attended the New Frontiers Academy were she sat to her Basic Education Certificate Examination and gained admission to Koidu Secondary School. Sia currently holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Social Work from Njala University. Currently, she is pursing her masters degree in Community Development from the same university.
Career
Sia Comfort Ediener Nyukeh is a Sierra Leonean Actor and film-entrepreneur. Her first production house was Gem Production – Njala University. She entered the eminent stage of the Sierra Leone movie industry in 2018 when she won the Sierra Leone Next Movie Star Reality Tv Show award for her performances, and rose to stardom in the industry. After being starred in 3 movies (In The Eyes Of A killer, Wounds Of A Poet and Pull You Han TV Series), her passion for filmmaking grew beyond the expectations of her family and fans. She is a resilient filmmaker who wants to use her platform to tell Sierra Leonean stories to the world. Sia has been stared in movies with big names in the Sierra Leone Film Industry and Nollywood; with stars like of Zack Oje, Bolanle Ninalowo, Martha Macuely, Dija Kay, Ramadan Barrie, Christiana Kamara and many more. Her strong passion for filmmaking left her with no option but to start up her own production company (Diamond Pictures SL Ltd). As the CEO of her own company, Sia has produced two feature movies (Gins of Darkness and Tangled With The Boss) already.
