Daramy A. Kabba, the chairperson for the Sierra Leone Labour and Marketing Guild makes assiduous strides to solidify the relationship between the Sierra Leone Film Industry and the Liberian Film Industry.
Kabba answered the call of Frank Arthust, the Liberian most popular actor and some key filmmakers in Liberia to attend a movie premier and as well to kindle the relationship between filmmakers in the two neighbouring countries. As an astute leader, he took the opportunity to discuss collaboration and the solidification of the relationship between the Liberian Filmmakers and Sierra Leonean Filmmakers.
In an online interview with imageSALONE, Daramy said, ‘’I’m here to attend a movie premier and to establish a Sierra Leone – Liberia co-operation that will build an ecosystem which will enable us to expand our market, build our Africa Brand and focus on telling our authentic African stories.’’
According to him, the Liberian team received him well as they were also anticipating a better relationship and collaboration in order to expand the movie market for filmmakers in both countries.
